Let's kick this week's Asana Laboratory off with Chaturanga Dandasana. 😮Not so easy - I know! 💪 But this pose just needs some time and a bit of practice. Let's check it out:
➡️chaturanga ... 4 limbs
➡️danda ... staff / stick
➡️asana ... pose
Benefits: great for a strong core
✅keep your elbows in and on top of your wrists
✅engage your core
✅shoulders and elbows on same hight
❌ stick your butt up
❌ collapse in your shoulders
❌ let your belly sink down first
Before: plank pose
After: upward-facing dog / cobra
Chaturanga is a foundational pose that teaches you how to find your center and activate your legs in arm balances.
Have a nice practice!💪
