When do you feel like taking off, floating above the ground?
When you feel that everything is in the right order, everything happens so easily, this is the real feeling of flow. It is like flying, isn't it?🚀
But what is this flow state of mind, anyway?
🕛Being completely focused on what you're doing
🕛Feeling happy and in control
🕛Forgetting about time and the world around you
🕛Being productive and creative
Sounds good, right? But how can you get there?
According to famous psychologist Mihály Csíkszentmihályi you can achieve to get into this flow state by:
💡Choose a work that you really love (I know, easier said than done ... but it's possible if you believe it!)
💡Get the important things done. Things that will impact your future. It's easy to get lost in details.
💡Get rid of everything that can disturb you in this time, no emails, no cell phone. One task at the time (in spite of the big trend of multitasking)
💡Focus on the task as long as you can
💡And most importantly: ENJOY!
This is the state I can get into when I teach. 🤓 🤔
