In AcroYoga we like to start our workshops sitting in a circle. The circle brings people together and creates a community of equal members. Unlike as in other yoga traditions where everybody practises on his/her own mat, in AcroYoga the emphasis in on practising together in a group, to support each other and feel the team spirit. Circle Ceremonies are more than just a warm up. They are playful and fun and they create beautfuly human mandalas. Movement meditation in creation. The first time I heard about AcroYoga was at Burning Man Festival 2011 in the Black Rock desert of Nevada, USA. This is also where I met some inspiring people that had a great idea and founded the Human Mandala Project. Find out more about them here: http://www.humanmandala.com/gallery. In our last Aerial Yoga Teacher Training in Bali we made this beautiful photo series and Diego put it together in little video. Enjoy!
