🐦🎵Come fly with me, let's fly, let's fly away🎵🐦
Literally, fly with me! :) When do you feel like taking off, floating above the ground? When you feel that everything is in the right order, everything happens so easily, this is the real feeling of flow. It is like flying, isn't it?🚀 But what is this flow state of mind, anyway? 🕛Being completely focused on what you're doing 🕛Feeling happy and in control 🕛Forgetting about time and the world around you 🕛Being productive and creative Sounds good, right? But how can you get there? According to famous psychologist Mihály Csíkszentmihályi you can achieve to get into this flow state by: 💡Choose a work that you really love (I know, easier said than done ... but it's possible if you believe it!) 💡Get the important things done. Things that will impact your future. It's easy to get lost in details. 💡Get rid of everything that can disturb you in this time, no emails, no cell phone. One task at the time (in spite of the big trend of multitasking) 💡Focus on the task as long as you can 💡And most importantly: ENJOY! This is the state I can get into when I teach. 🤓 🤔 I feel really lucky to have this opportunity! Probably, I like AcroYoga and Aerial Yoga so much because you aren't only flying as a result of your own progress. You don't have to achieve this ALONE! You can literally FLY with a little SUPPORT of the Aerial Yoga hammock or on the safe hands of your AcroYoga partner!

Acro & Aerial Yoga is all about Flying isn't it?
"The moment you doubt whether you can fly, you cease forever to be able to do it." Peter Pan⠀ ⠀ Arm balances in Yoga are some of the most challenging undertakings. More than any other pose they take a lot of courage and trust ... in your body ... your teacher ... your practice.⠀ ⠀ Crow pose is a great place to start. I only understood how it works until I learned how to engage my core and really pull those knees towards the chest! that made all the difference for me to find balance!⠀ ⠀ 👍Benefits: Crow pose really teaches you how to activate your finger power - which is also key for forearm stand and hand stand.⠀ ⠀ 👍Top tip: Make sure your palms are really flat on the ground, fingers wide spread and all knuckles pressing down - especially the index finger - or as we call it - the naughty knuckle!⠀ ⠀ 👍AcroYoga insight: If you are working towards handstands don't press with your knees from the outside - but rather bring them high up into the armpits for better bone stacking!⠀ ⠀ But most of all: Don't rush it and enjoy the process!⠀ ⠀ But don't worry Vienna days are coming and I'm ready for AcroYoga Spring and Summer.
However saying goodbye to this Island I bring you some pieces from my adventure and the reasons why I love this sacred island so much. One of the best thing in Bali is that tropical fruits are not tropical fruits anymore... just fruits and you can find them everywhere. 🍊 And nature has been very generous with them all year around. They are delightful, exquisite and my favorite breakfast! In the photo you can see my daily morning ritual: copping up smooth papaya and sweet bananas 🍌- the lime for the papaya is essential! Bananas are full of vitamins and give you a fast energy boost whenever it's needed, while papaya's sugar level is very low but still loaded with vitamins and nutrients.😎 Every year I learn more about this fascinating culture, did you know that...⠀ ⠀ 🌴Balinese names are given to children to show the order of birth: ⠀ 1st: Wayan, Putu or Gede⠀ 2nd: Made or Kadek⠀ 3rd: Nyoman or Komang⠀ 4th: Ketut⠀ ⠀ 🌴If a family has more than four children, the cycle repeats ⠀ ⠀ 🌴These names are equally used for male and female and there are no family names which can be very confusing, so people start to add nicknames.⠀ ⠀ 🌴The decreasing tendency in child birth makes the last two names disappear so the government supports to have at least four children in a family.👩👩👧👦⠀ You can meet me in these events next: Journey to Handstand course starting 17:30 April 9th⠀ AcroYoga Intermediate course starting 19:30 April 9th⠀ AcroYoga Beginners course starting 19:30 April 10th⠀ That's all for now and I hope to see you soon in Vienna! ⠀ |
