This is the last day of AerialYoga challenge powered by Aerial Arts Festival! It's still not to late to join!
During 7 days we went through 7 topics. Let's see what they were! Day 1: The beginning of your Aerial journey. I first saw a fire 🔥 performance friend of mine hanging on those white elastic fabrics doing crazy things at the Phoenix circus arts center Vienna! 😱She gave us a quick workshop and i thought i would never climb or make a knot. So hard!!!! But i kept on trying every now and then just for fun... until I got hooked, but i never performed on them! Hooping took all my energy! ⭕️ 2013 I participated at the first Aerial Yoga teacher training in Austria 🇦🇹 by @sheila_falk thats where I met @sophie_skywalk The rest is history... 😂🤓 Day 2 The topic is: Your favorite aerial apparatus My favorite aerial apparatus is definitely the aerial hammock! In aerial yoga we use it for so many yummieh postures! I love how it makes the aerial world accessible to every body! But there are also advanced circus 🎪 tricks for higher level - anything you want! Inversions are so easy in it and also fun! I love the soft & silky feeling of the hammock on my skin. Day 3: Your favourite Aerial trick! I love <3 foot locks! There are so many variations... hard to choose one! Very simple poses often look the best! The crazy wraps can easily get messy. They are a great challenge though and no risk - no fun! I love how aerial art makes you feel graceful, beautiful and strong! I remember that when I had a terrible heartbreak in 2011 I started training Aerial Silks almost every day and it made me feel so strong - not only in my body - but also in my mind and heart. I felt like: hey I can actually do this! And if I can do this crazy shit - anything is possible! Day 4: Today: What is your Aerial Nemesis?👿 😲 I found upside down splits so challenging to learn! But I had a great teacher: @jessicajayaerial and a wonderful friend @tka_nina to help me out when I forgot everything! 😵 And then when you finally get it - it's so much fun to get upside down! 🙃 Day 5: Your Aerial style or your inspiration? 😍I love slowmotion and spinning! When i work on a new aerial yoga flow i like to swing if the hanging points allow! My favorite music 🎶 is melodic and has fat beats! Check out my Instagram for some Aerial videos, there you can see my style :) ✅Day 6: What is your greatest Aerial accomplishment? ? For me being able to teach what I love: AERIAL YOGA is my greatest aerial accomplishment! Nothing is more fun than to spread the love for what you are most passionate about! Day 7:: Your future Aerial goal or dream! I always wanted to try Flying Trapeze! But it is really hard to find a setup! Today is also my last day enjoying Barcelona Yoga Conference with my dear friend @justmyyoga 💜 I am full of inspiration for the future! What are your dreams & goals? Are you an Aerial Yoga teacher already but get bored with our own teaching? Are you looking for some new inspiration to enhance your teaching quality? Join me and @sheila_falk in October in Austria: - Level 1: 13. - 19. Oct. - Level 2: 20. - 26. Oct. Love, Lisa
