Aerial Arts Festival is in the corner and this is going to be one of the most complex yoga, dance, and circus arts festivals of the year with people all around the world!
Aerial Arts Festival This is the place where you can try everything that you ever dreamed as a little child, Hula Hoop, Acrobatic Workshops, AcroYoga and of course Aerial. Of yourse I'm going to teach in this festival but not just the AcroYoga and Hula Hoop but there's a very special type of movements that is really close to my heart. This is the Thai Nuad Bodywork. Thai massage complements all the above mentioned exercises and a perfect way to calm your body after a challenging acro or aerial yoga session. What is Thai massage ? A dynamic bodywork therapy appeared first in the temples of Thailand. It's a therapy that is based upon yoga and Ayurveda practices. It appeared in Thailand, however, this therapeutic art was directly rooted in the Indian healing traditions of Ayurvedic medicine. The father founder of Thai Yoga Massage, Jivaka Kumarbhaccha was a renowned doctor and yogi, he treated the Buddha, among others. After the Buddha’s death, the earliest Buddhist monks travelled to Southeast Asia and were accompanied by Ayurvedic doctors. These doctors practiced a healing art, that would later evolve into traditional Thai Massage. In this unique healing system of Thai Yoga Massage, also called Nuad Boran, the practitioner guides the client through a series of yoga postures, while palming and thumbing along the body’s energy (‘Sen’) lines and pressure points. Why it is the perfect way to calm your body? After a long day in the air a Thaimassage helps to release tension in the body and ground yourself again. Together these therapeutic actions result in a comprehensive full body treatment.
3 Days workshop In these workshops you will receive a lot of different ways to calm your body. Each day we're going to focus on a different part of the body. 30th Aug. - 16:30 31th Aug. - 16:30 01th Sep. - 16:30 Join us to learn this amazing way of calming your body with therapeutic Thai Nuad!
